David S. Dail, Chairman
Pastor David S. Dail, a native of Kinston, NC, is a retired Active and Reserve Army Chaplain of 33 years. He is the founder and Pastor of Faith Center Bible Church, in Monroe, North Carolina. He serves as one of the Associate Ministers at The Kinston Bible Institute in Kinston, NC. Currently Pastor Dail is pursuing a Doctorate of Theology at Apex School of Theology in Durham, North Carolina. In 1987 Pastor Dail earned a Masters in Divinity at South Western Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in 1987; in 1982 he earned a Masters in Political Science and Human Relations at Webster College in Fort Leonard Wood, MO; Also, in 1980, he earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a major in Bible Theology and minor in Christian Education at John Wesley College, High Point, NC. Called to ministry at the age of 24, Pastor Dail has been preaching and teaching the Word of God for over 35 years. He has pastored many military and civilian congregations throughout his ministerial career. His life-long passion for Christ and strength in the Spirit has allowed him to plant 5 churches; (1)Frasier Court Baptist Church in Dallas, TX; (2)Baptist Congregation in Fort Polk, LA; (3)Seven Day Adventist Church in Vilsek, Germany; (4)Gospel Congregation in Illeshiem, Germany; and (5)Faith Center Bible Church, Monroe, NC. He is married to Zena Dail and is the father of three children, Keisha, Tasha, and Joshua. Pastor Dail believes the Bible is the infallible Word of God and the inerrancy of the scriptures. He whole heartedly believes in the Full Gospel of Christ and that we do not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Dr. James P. Chapman
Bishop Chapman is a native of Kinston, NC. He has been the Pastor of Rhema Word Christian Center (COC), Kinston, NC for over 36 years. He held the Board Chair position for Green Lamp, Inc. for 12 years. The mission of Greene Lamp, Inc. is to develop, maintain, administer, and/or to support programs and endeavors designed to better the social, economic, housing, and cultural conditions existing in Greene and Lenoir Counties, North Carolina. He has traveled the world, preaching, and lecturing in Germany, West Africa, Israel, Jordon and the South China Sea. Bishop Chapman earned a Doctorate of Ministry in 2013 and Master of Divinity in 2010 from Apex School of Theology, Durham, NC, and Master in Christian Counseling from Nashville Theological Seminary in 2005. He also, earned two AAS in Senior Accounting and Business Administration Management, and a BS in Dairy Science from A&T State University, Raleigh NC. He has written several articles entitled: “Man’s Last Millennium”, “Supernatural Knowledge”, “The Holy Ghost in the Old Testament and New Testament”, and “Tithes and Offerings. He is married to the former Doris Dail and they have two sons: Rev. Dr. John T. Chapman, and Vice Bishop James P. Chapman, Jr. Bishop Chapman and his wife Doris reside in Kinston, NC. Shelia K. Judon, ED
Shelia K. Judon, is a native of Bogue, NC. She has serves as the President of the Women’s Ministry of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church since 2006. She has implemented, organized a group of women for ministry. Shelia ministers to women of varied ages with, “Becoming a Titus 2 Woman”, being the key focus. Shelia is also, the Executive Director for Onslow Pregnancy Resource Center, a pro-life ministry that provides life affirming alternatives to abortion. OPRC has a staff of fifteen (3 paid). Shelia provides managerial support, direction, supervision, development, public relations and training to the Client Services Director and other staff. Shelia has served in other Helping Professions prior to her work in Pregnancy Resource Centers. She was a Crisis Intervention team member for Lechris Health Systems and a Nutrition/Breastfeeding Program Assistant for North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service. Shelia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion from Mt. Olive College. Sheila is the wife of Pastor Hubert Judon; they have three children, Micah, Mariah, and Marshall. Her ministry Scripture is, “Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.” Proverbs 31:8-9. Esther M. Powell
Ester Maria Powell, Pitt County native, brings a wealth of experience to MOM. With a developed passion for helping other people, she has worked in human services for 28 years in counting. Married over 40 years to Pastor James Ellsworth Powell of Best Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Snow Hill, North Carolina, Ester has been working with the women of the church in various ministries. She is especially devoted in the music ministry. She has allowed God to use her voice to spread cheer in song and prayer to countless people throughout her neighborhood, state, and even oversees. Ester has followed her dreams even as a dedicated Mother of two living children and two grandchildren. In love with learning and growing, Ester has earned several certifications: Executive Secretary, Nail Technician, Zumba Instructor, and Nurse Assistant II. She is currently pursuing a Licensed Practical Nurse status with the state of North Carolina at Lenoir Community College and plans to specialize in Elder Care. When not enjoying the company of her family or work Ester enjoys sewing and leading group exercise as a licensed Zumba instructor. As a board member Ester looks forward to providing support and unconditionally guidance to promote the growth of MOM and the young adults it impacts. Elder Alicia Rhoe
Eldress Alecia Rhoe was raised in Eastern North Carolina where she attended Jones and Lenoir County Schools, graduating from high school in 2007 with honors. She later attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC where she received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, with concentrations in marketing and supply chain management. While attending her alma mater in undergraduate school, she attended Kinston Theological Seminary (Kinston, NC) where she received her Associates degree in Christian education. In October of 2012, she received her ordination papers from the Assembly of Christ under Dr. James Chapman. |
